IATEFL BESIG runs a number of events each year, our biggest being our Annual Conference, which takes place every November.

This year's conference theme is "Business Frontiers – Creating the Future Together”.
It will address the following topics:
Business English learning technologies: AI, online teaching, platforms, tools & resources.
Teaching practices: transferrable activities, learning strategies, and best practices from the Business English classroom.
Future-proofing our industry and our clients’ jobs: marketability, well-being, and employability.
Sustainability: the role of Business English in promoting positive social change, inclusivity, and sustainable practices.
Global world: managing multicultural business and classroom environments.
The two plenary speakers are Daniel Xerri who will talk about Navigating change: Cultivating Adaptability in the Business English Classroom and Anna Plaksiienko who will present on Empowering Tomorrow's Leaders: Sustainable Development through Business English.

Early bird non-member fee: £ 275

Hotel Information

Accommodation is available for a special rate at the resort. The email address for the special IATEFL BESIG price at the venue and the code can be found on the Malta Information Sheet. The special rate for accommodation at the venue is continuing at the moment subject to availability. Online registration will close on 18 November although people can still register onsite in Malta.
Alternative accommodation can be found in Msida (walking distance) or in Sliema (reachable on foot or by bus).
IATEFL members need to login before registering for this event in order to receive the member discount.

Booking fees will increase to the standard rate for those delegates who book but do not pay by the early bird deadline.
